It appears that we all have something in common and that this is a common occurance, therefore we have just finished contacting the BBC News in the hope that they may be interested investigating Solitaire.
Below is a copy of the correspondence:-
I’ve tried contacting BBC Watchdog, Consumer Direct and other governmental areas in the hope of highlighting the terrible services residents receive from a national company called Solitaire Property Management.
I setup the website: www.thetruthaboutsolitaire.co.uk to try and find out whether the problems I encountered were a one off. Much to my surprise other residents around the UK that have Solitaire Property Management, maintain their homes – the story is much the same.
It would appear that there is no government body to control the activities of these type of companies.
Us residents are at the end of our tether, they demand money from us for very little work, they don’t respond to telephone calls, emails, even after photographic, video evidence, recordings of telephone conversations.
They simply palm people off, yet are more than happy to threaten legal action when we withhold payment due to them failing to provide services we pay for and in a way are potentially in breach of their contract that they have with us.
I would dearly appreciate it if the BBC, even if it is not the news but Rogue Traders, Watchdog could help in this matter.
