Solitaire / Peverel Website Hits
By admin | April 21st, 2009 | Category: Past Articles | 7 commentsSome of you may think that Solitaire / Peverel do not pay any attention to TheTruthAboutSolitaire website, but be rest assured that they certainly do.
They are actually the 2nd most regular visitors to the website and already this morning at 8.35am, they were online having a good read of the Watchdog posts that were written yesterday.
Interestingly enough, that they find the website by usually Googling ‘Solitaire Property Management‘ or ‘The Truth About Solitaire‘
Since the broadcast by Watchdog last night, the website recieved hundreds of hits to the point that the website was struggling to cope with the number of visitors! Therefore, if you were one of the unlucky one’s that gave up accessing the site last night, we apologise and will be looking to address this should Watchdog run another program and this time name the companies involved!

In that case, we should all see a marked improvement in Solitaire’s performance, as they should now realise how much dislike there is for them. They should be embarrased enough by the very presence of this website, and the fact that Watchdog are also now on the case. They dodged a bullet last night having not been named, but a follow-up report by Watchdog specifically naming them would be far more damaging.
No doubt somebody at Solitaire / Peverel will read this comment later today. Good to know somebody there is taking notice…!!!
Hello all.
I have just had a look at the Watchdog programme and I can only conclude that ARMA are a waste of space. It seems to me that the only way forward is to lobby our respective MPs for a change in the law – a regulator for the property management industry is long overdue. And bear in mind that politicians will want to keep us voters happy because a general election is not far off. If anyone needs to find out how to contact their MP simply google ‘uk parliament find your mp’. Maybe admin could set up a link to this website.
I have made my MP aware of the ‘truth about…’ website and my views on property management companies, particularly Solitaire. I also intend to make my MP aware of the Watchdog programme and the fact that they are talking about Solitaire Property Management.
It is also well worth contacting Watchdog. Watchdog are very interested in Solitaire – I know this because I have had a couple of telephone conversations with them.
All persons who have dealings as leaseholders with any Fairhold Homes company or with Peverel Management Services Limited should watch
CHANNEL 4 NEWS ON THURSDAY, 27 AUGUST AT 7 PM
A relevant news item will be broadfcast unless there is some other damatic occurrence that precludes there being sufficiane time.
I have just heard (at 4pm) that the Channel 4 broadcast scheduled for this evening, 27th August 2009 will not now be transmitted. Channel 4′s lawyers have been at it and, to the disappointment of the film makers, they have hacked the report about but, I understand, the substance is still there.
The broadcast has now been POSTPONED until, TUESDAY, 1ST SEPTEMBER 2009.
Hopefully this will now give time for some press coverage.
Yesterday was one of those days! With the haste of some postings, something always gets lost in the translation and words finish up in the wrong place! My posting yesterday should have said:

Please note that this poster has previously posted under the name of ‘solitaire at it again’ on the 29 April 2009. We did advise that they were trying to provoke a reaction, with their comments, so please pay very little attention to them.
A laugh on a Monday morning is always welcome – the post from “Martin” has certainly provided one…..
