The Petition Is Still Going
By admin | April 24th, 2009 | Category: Past Articles | 1 Comment »TheTruthAboutSolitaire setup the Official Solitaire Property Management Petition to gage just how bad the situation was with Solitaire Property Management.
The Official Solitaire Property Management Petition continues to grow and we ask that if you have not already done so, sign it today.
Believe us, once you’ve read the comments of people that have signed it, you’ll realise that Solitaire Property Management have quite frankly been taking the advantage for far too long!

I have been looking at the ‘uk parliament – contact your mp’ website. I have discovered that there is an all party parliamentary group for Consumer Affairs and Trading Standards. The remit of this group includes ‘…to consider consumer legislation and related matters; to help the recipients of goods and services and promote the delivery of high quality consumer services…’.
Here is a list of the group members along with their constituency:
Austin Mitchel (Grimsby)
Nigel Griffiths (Edinburgh South)
Desmond Turner (Brighton Kemptown)
Michael Foster (Worcester)
Linda Gilroy (Plymouth Sutton)
Jeff Ennis (Barnsley East and Mexborough)
Jim Murphy (East Renfrewshire)
John Whittingdale (Maldon and East Chelmsford)
Nigel Waterson (Eastbourne)
Norman Baker (Lewes)
If any Solitaire sufferers have one of the above as their MP then it might be particularly helpful to our cause if they were made aware of our situation – it certainly won’t do any harm. Contact details can be found on the ‘uk parliament find your mp’ website.
Anyone doing this should probably let the MP know that they are being contacted because of their membership of the committee. The MP could be told about the activities of Jim Devine MP, this website, the petition and any opinions on Solitaire. It would also be important to mention the need for regulation of the property management industry.
