I can’t believe it!  I missed a very important Birthday this week and no it’s wasn’t the wifes!! TheTruthAboutSolitaire celebrated it’s first Birthday and things still haven’t improved with my personal Solitaire / Peverel complaints, but what I have managed to identify, is the fact I wasn’t alone in my plight! Those of you that are readers of the Daily Mail newspaper, may have seen a very interested letter within the ‘Money’ Section, that was in reference to Peverel. It was good to read on the BBC News website today that High profile estate agency Foxtons has been told by the High Court that some of the charges it imposes on landlords are unfair.  The Office of Fair Trading asked the court to to uphold the regulators decision from 2008 that the charges broke consumer regulations. There has been an increase in the number of compliants on TheTruthAboutSolitaire from residents that have received invoices on one day, to then receive another invoice the following day asking for even more money. How / why has Solitaire allowed these mistakes to happen?  Are they mistakes?  Who knows? Having seen accounting systems implemented in the past at previous companies I have worked for, there has always been a  period when the old and new systems run alongside eachother, until they have been confident that the new system is working correctly, before decommissioning the old system.
