New Name On The Block

Today’s a very busy day for news on Peverel / Solitaire!

We were the first to reveal that Peverel, Solitaire and other property management companies were associated to eachother and today we’d like to bring to everyone’s attention, a brand new guise for Peverel Property Management, Solitaire Property Management, County Estate Management………

Consort Property Management

Yep that’s right, they’ve gone and done it again and setup another guise, which we assume will replace the notorious brands that are Peverel, Solitaire, County Estate Management.

Let me guess, will Consort Property Management be the ‘best’ property management company out there, whereby following all of our complaints, they are going to try and do things properly????  Probably!

So, beware residents of Peverel / Solitaire of any correspondence advising that Consort Property Management are now responsible for your property.  Don’t get too excited either, because things will more than likely not change.

What’s more interesting is the fact that the Company Registered Number listed on their website is actually that of Peverel OM Limited (2061041) – tut tut, the web designers obviously didn’t proof read the site properly!

How much does all this rebranding cost? Are our services charges being spent on empire building rather than tour own buildings? This reeks of slippery practice.

Interesting how companies house has no record of ‘Consort Property Management’ hmmm

The closest match I can find on the Companies House website is “Consort Property Holdings Limited”, company no. 06211214. Their address is London EC4. Their nature of business is stated as “7032 – Manage real estate, fee or contract”. Date of incorporation is 12/04/2007. Could this be them…???

I noted with interest (amusement…???) that the banner at the top of Consort’s website states “Specialists in managing complexity”. That’s a good one. Rather than managing complex things, perhaps they (and their parent & sister companies) should start with the basics…..

    Hi Admin,

There’s no mystery about Consort Property Management, and I’m more than happy to be able to give everyone some background info on the business.

In the last decade large developers and house builders created some major residential developments that present a different set of demands than smaller apartment blocks. These developments often have facilities such as shared heating systems, gyms and swimming pools, as well as retail shops (such as Tesco Express), commercial offices, bars and even restaurants as part of the overall scheme.

About 3 years ago Peverel OM created an entirely separate property management team specifically for these types of developments. They range in size from 250 up to 1500 individual apartments and properties. Given the complexity of these sites, Consort-managed developments typically require a dedicated on-site management team led by a Development Manager.

As this is a separate business operating within Peverel OM, we launched the new Consort Property Management identity to customers living in these developments in July this year. Consort has both its own dedicated Customer Services team as well as Senior Property Managers who have the experience and expertise required for these types of properties. Anyone is welcome to check out the website (www.consortpm.co.uk) to get a better idea of what this business is about.

Most developments managed by Solitaire don’t fall into this category. However, at one development with approximately 400 flats, we decided recently to change management from Solitaire to Consort as we felt that this was the best way to resolve some of the complex on-site management challenges faced at this major residential site.

The Consort website states on every page that ‘Consort Property Management is a division of Peverel OM Ltd’ so we have been totally open about the relationship.

Do get back to me if you’d like to discuss this further, or have any questions.

    Thanks

    Andy

    Consort Project Management
I looked and was nearly sick over my keyboard.
Company was launched in July this year yet you read, and warning this really is the sickening bit and I quote
“We are specialists and over the years have developed an enviable reputation as managers with integrity”
I think the modern day expression is “DREAM ON”

  6. Matt says:

So if Consort Property Management was only launched in July this year, how can they legally claim “We are specialists and over the YEARS have developed an enviable reputation as managers with integrity”…??? OK, their staff and their sister / parent companies may have been in the business for years, but Consort themselves haven’t…..

That would be like Tata, having recently bought Land Rover, claiming that they have a heritage of building market-leading 4×4 vehicles going back decades. Tata don’t have this heritage, Land Rover do. Subtle (but important) difference.

Consort don’t have years of developing “an enviable reputation as managers with integrity”. Come to think of it, nor do Solitaire / Peverel. Years – yes. An enviable reputation as managers with integrity – now that is funny. Oh, and total rubbish…..

    I have been flicking through my thesaurus and decided to look up the word ‘CONSORT’. Here’s a bit of what it says;

CONSORT (verb) CONSORT WITH 1. CONSORT WITH CRIMINALS, associate with, keep company with, hang around with, go around with, mix with, spend time with, fratenize with, have dealings with.

    Say no more.
