Petition Downing Street
“Darren” who is a contributor to TheTruthAboutSolitaire, posted today to bring to our attention that a recent petition he setup on the No.10 website, calling for more government regulation in the leasehold management / service charge industry – has now been deemed as a valid petition!
As suggested by “Matt” – we would like to bring this petition to the attention of visitors to TheTruthAboutSolitaire to gain further support.
We all share the same belieft that companies like Peverel / Solitaire / County Estate Management should be held accountable for poor service, shoddy workmanship and overcharging and this could be our chance!
The petition requires only 500 signatures for it to be viewed by members of N0.10 and possibly considered by Government – so sign up today!!
Why not print the image below and distribute it amongst your fellow neighbours to highlight this petition and get more signatures!
To sign the petition click the image above or click the following link http://petitions.number10.gov.uk/flatownerhelp/
It’s time for residents to fight back and we need your support!

Wow! Thanks for putting it up on the front page! In our block we’ve had years of mismanagement, phantom figures in the acocunts, shoddy workmanship etc etc… whilst trying to resolve our problems with our management company, i’ve felt a need for more regulation in the industry. You pay up money for work that isn’t done then they ask you for more and it goes on and on……nightmare! People are steadily signing up so hopefully it’ll grow and we can get someone in government to get on board. It’s time these companies were hed accountable for their actions and forced to act responsibly. Please forward the ilnk to this site or the petition itself to anybody you know who is in the same boat. Thanks again, Darren

There are currently 432 signatures on the ‘Truth About Solitaire’ petition we started last year – so if everyone who has already signed that now also signs the Downing Street petition, passing the magic 500 barrier should be a cinch.

Jon – make that 433…!!!
Is there any way you can send a “global” email to all those who have signed your petition, with a link to Darren’s Downing Street petition…??? We have to give our email address to sign your petition, so you must have a record of all 433 signatory’s email addresses somewhere…???
It would be a quick way to get Darren’s petition known to 400+ people in one go, if you can do it…???
