More Daily Mail Coverage of Peverel

Those of you that are readers of the Daily Mail Newspaper, may have seen the latest report of Peverel in the media, within the Money Section of the paper.

The article titled “Pensioners fight back in dispute over housing fees” features pensioners that have managed to succesfully proceed with Right To Manage Actions, to be in control of their property management.

Interestingly enough, that the article features a comment from a spokesman of Peverel who tries to put people off proceeding with Right to Manage by saying:-

People forget the right to manage is a wonderful idea, but involves a huge amount of work which might not be apparent at the outset

This comment alone, clearly shows that Peverel are only interested in feathering their own nest than looking after the interests of residents.  Afterall, LEGALLY – residents are entitled to proceed with a Right to Manage action and the property management company should not be trying to influence residents decisions, by saying that it’s a lot of hard work.

It’s a shame that if the Property Management company put the hard work in, in the first instance, people would not be wanting to proceed with Right to Manage.

Many visitors to TheTruthAboutSolitaire will have noticed that ‘Andy’ has been very quiet with his contributions to the TheTruthAboutSolitaire, especially when he has still yet to answer questions raised by AN Onymous and Nicky Vogg.

We believe that finally, the failings of Peverel / Solitaire and The Consensus Business Group are now being heard by members of the Government and that it is surely only a matter of time before this type of monoply is made illegal.

Remember, you can still sign the No.10 Petition calling for Regulation of the Property Management / Service Industry which at the time of writing this post, 292 people had supported the cause.

We managed a block in Walthamstow for 3 years. I left the board after that. I will be too happy to write a manual to help the leaseholders, who are directors or wish to be directors on the board to mange the development by themselves.
It is not difficult at all except one need to watch companies who buy properties in the development to take control to spin off the profits. They are very aggressive use any means to cause trouble.
