Are Peverel Employee’s Ashamed?
By admin | November 20th, 2009 | Category: Past Articles | 4 commentsWe’ve received a couple of e-mails from employees of Peverel, who have been named in contributors posts and experiences that have been highlighted – asking for their names to be removed from certain posts.
Hopefully, these requests have come as a result of feeling ashamed / embarrassed by their actions (or lack of). However, had the employees who have have been named, helped the residents with a complaint, they would never have been named in the first instance!
TheTruthAboutSolitaire would like to request, that should any contributors wish to refer to an employee of Peverel / Solitaire or Consensus Business Group, that you refer to them similar to the following: Joe Bloggs as JoeB or Mr Joe Bloggs as Mr JB.
In addition to the above, if any Peverel / Solitaire / Consensus Business Group employee, has been named and would like their details removed, can we please refer you to our Privacy Policy, that provides details of how to get the information amended.
We thank you for your co-operation.

What struck me was the fact that these are still in the employment of the offending management companies- doesn’t that say it all.
Hi admin,
I wanted to address some comments raised in this thread in order to clear a few things up.
As an employer, Peverel Property Management has a duty of care for all its employees. That’s why we asked you, as the creator and moderator of this site, to encourage contributors to post the initials of their Property Manager rather than their full name. Many regular contributors are doing this – and for this we’d like to say thanks.
Far from being ashamed, the property managers take great pride in their jobs. The Solitaire team in particular are now able to have the support of a new property management information system – as well as a new Customer Services team. Already email response times have greatly improved, though, as I have said before, despite this positive difference we fully understand that there is still more to be done.
That’s why we were all delighted that Peverel Property Management – which includes Solitaire – recently received Investors in People (IIP) accreditation in recognition of our performance in training and staff development. As part of gaining this accreditation, an independent external assessor undertook an extensive series of interviews with a representative group of staff and managers across the business to ensure that we met the criteria in the ten standards that were required to gain the award.
Our assessor fully recognised the challenge the business faced in obtaining the IIP accreditation in what has been such a significant period of change as a result of the integration of the Solitaire property management business.
To quote from the independent assessor’s report:
‘I have been impressed by the amount of work that has been carried out, and the processes and procedures that are now in place – this is no mean feat in light of the integration of the acquired businesses. Peverel Property Management is to be congratulated on its achievements to date.’
You can find out more about the IIP here: http://www.investorsinpeople.co.uk
Unfortunately, as a necessary part of the restructuring of the Solitaire business, some of the original team are no longer with us and, more recently, a number of staff based in Barnet were made redundant as a result of the closure of this office at the end of October. This was not a reflection on many of the individuals concerned but a consequence of the old ways of working, operating procedures and the limitations of the old property management system that were no longer appropriate for a property management business of this size.
P. Hill,
Just to let you know that the CEO referred to in the article left in March 2008.
We continue to welcome all constructive comments and feedback from everyone. If anyone has any further questions relating to any of the changes that have been made, then please feel free to email me directly at andy.solitairepm@peverel.co.uk
Thanks,
Andy

Dear Andy,
If your Company Manageres takes “pride” in their work and Company can win awards from the industry then how come they cannot back their own allegations and do not answer my letters/posting in full.
Since 2007, I am still waiting for reports for the test/inspections carried out in my flat. Just simply denying they never took place is not acceptable practice when I have given proof to the fact. Infact it may be permed as down right lies.
Does it mean managerers are taking “pride” how I have been treated because Young Vincent staff is trained not to accept they are at fault and not to respond so that Company is blameless or does it mean Peverel are ready to take u turn and willing to be truthful in my case and settle my claim.
Winning awards feels like someone has sprinkled salt to my wounds caused by suffering and loss due to negligence and incompetent of Peverel‘s staff and contractors. The water leak problem is just not mine, is it?
Have any of Peverel and Norwich Union staff lost £1500 a month income since May 2007 and total loss around £72,000 so far while equity of my flat is reduced from £365,000 to less then £100.000? The company, insurance Company and their contractors are free to deny and cause as much damage as they like and no one is can make them accountable?
Your clarification on Peverel definition of taking “ pride” is utmost important. Please respond with the answers I am seeking too and meeting with the big white chief is utmost important. Otherwise, I am going to carry on screaming till I “go blue in the face” and ready to go to final box of resting.
Finally, please note your company was informed of my intent to put names on the internet and record or they do not need to be in my presence.
