Burns Avenue Residents Reply to Peverel’s Andy
Following Andy’s request to publish Peverel’s / Solitaire’s side of the Burns Avenue story.
We have been contacted by the resident of Burns Avenue, to tell us that…
“we do not have a problem with the estate, we have a problem with the patch of grass outside our front door – Solitaire are saying that it is pebbled and edged, when it is clearly mud & stones, as the image below proves.
This patch of grass has not been touch in 11 years we as residents have lived here”
Andy, advised that the following grassed area adjacent to the flank wall on 4 and 5 Burns Avenue, is only half of the length which has been reworked to give a comparison.

Which you clearly see is in need of being reworked completely and when compared to other photo’s, demonstrates that Solitaire / landscaper, are not fulfilling the requirement of remedying all of the borders, to satisfactory standards… (is that weeds that we can see too??)
Although, this may be the standards that Solitaire / Peverel deem acceptable, but to residents that pay substantial amounts, they expect a lot better!
Over to you Andy!

Hi Admin
In response to your latest Burns Avenue posting, the senior property management team visited the site and, as shown in the photos we provided, the landscaping around the site is in very good order.
We believe that the best way to help resolve the specific issues that the resident who posted the response is to arrange for a site visit, where they can meet up with both their Property Manager and the gardeners for the development to discuss how we can resolve their remaining concerns.
We have written to the resident offering them a meeting and await their response.
Thanks
Andy
