Closing in on 1000 Signatures
Filed in Uncategorized on Feb.18, 2010
Thank you to everyone that has already signed the Downing Street Petition (link available at the top of this page).
We are currently upto 988 signatures and are so close to hitting that magic 1000!
If you haven’t already done so, bring the petition to the attention of others, for it to gain their support.
A special thanks goes to CARLEX, for their publicity of the petition.

Hey handy andy 1,000 people are not satisfied with your company and thats putting it mildly. One thousand people who have signed a petition to express dissatisfaction with the “service” that your company tries to give which at best is third rate.
Time to tell us your second name and qualifications so that we can find you a REAL job.

And there’s the 1,000 mark reached. Fantastic. So how many more will there be before the deadline in just under 2 months…???
Francescc – the Downing Street petition isn’t just about Solitaire / Peverel etc. It’s for the owners of all leasehold properties, which will therefore include many who are not “managed” by Sol / Pev etc.
However, of the 1,000 who have signed up to date, I wonder how many are in a Sol / Pev property? I’ll bet it’s a very large majority…..

Yes Matt clarification to my statement.
I am indeed aware that there are other companies in the same, and I hope “sinking boat” I have “talked” via emails to other people suffering.
My point was to enforce Admins recent post that they will not respond any more to the blatant excuses from whats his name at Peverhell (ops Peverel, my apologies)
They who dig a pit may one day fall in it.
BLATANT : glaring : obvious : undisguised : overt : shameless : barefaced : brazen.

Yes Francescc
And that to putting it mildly, I would like to say a lot more than that, but the air would be blue, let us all keep up the good fight.( A very just fight )

All,
This is by no means the end, just the beginning of the end. The prime concern should be the removal of your Consensus property ‘management’ company – then go for them as hard as possible in seeking recompense for as long as possible – which will mean hard cash, which hits this scum in the only way that really matters to them.
Let us get those little (or not so little!) Luton based sphincters really twitching!

The Downing Street Petition against the introduction of the 50p phoneline tax, which closes on 27th Feb, currently stands at 18,556. As this petition includes those many millions who hold that blissful status of “freeholder” of their homes, then 13 short of 1,000 for TTAS’s petition looks pretty very goodto me.
But with 6 weeks to go I am sure that this figure could be more than doubled if we all drew it to the attention of other leaseholders who may currently be suffering in silence.

I FINALLY managed to do a big leaflet drop in our Development this weekend and I can see a few familiar names just signed up to the petition. Posters have gone up on the entrances of ALL the blocks and ALL ‘freehold’ houses who have to pay towards the ground’s maintenance.
I would urge pple to try and do the same if they can and not assume that ALL your neighbours know about this web site or the Petition. Even if you’ve got neighbouring developments that aren’t ultimately GCB mis-managed then as previous posts have said this is a campaign about how unjust the leasehold management industry is and isn’t aimed specifically at Solitaire Property Management / Peverel Group Companies but I agree – I reckon MOST of those that have signed up are under the control of Peverhell (…I like that! Sums it all up really!)
If anyone reading this got one of my leaflets / saw the poster and wants to get in touch then please contact me via Admin, thanks.

No 10 Petition numbers now stand at an impressive 1220.
Newsontheblock’s support for the petition appears in the News section on page 6 of the latest edition – number 48 2010.
There is still just over a month to go to boost the numbers.
In answer to Leah’s question above – click on the No 10 Petition Panel at the top of this page and follow the intructions given. Once you have signed you will receive an acknowledgement e-mail and a further e-mail once the outcome of the petition has been decided.

Good to see that the number on the Petition is now 1290.

Admin,
Could you clarify the direct web address for the above No 10 petition? I want to email someone I know who holds a (legitimate)contact list of approx 75 flat owners. These people may be interested in signing the Petition but would run a mile from a site like TTAS.
When I click on the panel at the top of this page the address:
http://petitions.number10.gov.uk/flatownershelp comes up, but when I type this is myself can only get to the main No 10 Petitions page with a commnet that the word “flatownerhelp” cannot be found.
Also there is is disprecany on numbers – this page gives 1297 but when I went in via the index of deadline date it gives 1301?
Many thanks
