What Companies Are Involved?
By admin | March 27th, 2010 | Category: Past Articles | 10 commentsOn the suggestion of the latest TheTruthAboutSolitaire contributor ‘Worth’ – we’ve put together a dedicated page that lists all the companies (that we are currently aware of) – who are associated with/or part of either Consensus Business Group or Peverel Group Ltd.
The reason for doing this is largely down to the sheer number of enquiries we receive, who ask whether XYZ company is part of CBG or Peverel. Hopefully, by listing all of the companies associated – will make it clear just how complicated a web, they have weaved and explains why they have been able to completely bamboozle us all into thinking, any new PMC company isn’t associated with the previous one!
This information is available via ‘the companies‘ link at the top of this page and we ask, that if there is anyone, who knows of any other ‘guises’ that we have missed, feel free to comment on this post and we’ll add them to the list.
Why not also add the website address, so that visitors can easily click through to the relevant company to confirm whether they are the PMC that looks after their estate / development.

Thanks for the list, it is so long! Why are they not open to the fact that they have such a monopoly in this business area.
Another thought, why not list the LVT’s that we know about on another page?
Good idea, Worth. A list of LVT cases (both those already decided, plus those “in progress”) would be good. Even a summary against each completed case of the outcome…???
I’ve also previously suggested a “Right To Manage” list – i.e. which developments have either completed RTM, or are currently going through the process. Be good to know the numbers, both in terms of developments, and also individual properties, that have sacked their old management companies. Could also list the old (removed) company, along with the new company, so that we can see who is being hit by RTM and which new companies developments are employing.
As if Admin haven’t got enough to do already…???!!!
Hi Matt, good idea, present and past LVT action’s by company would give the public an honest view of the service that Peverel/CBG offers.
Have you heard of Property Debt Collection? Are they a Solitaire owned company that collects service charges for Peverel/CBG? The only link I can find for them is http://www.cpm-asset-management.co.uk/. They are acting on behalf of Peverel and are very rude!
PDC, property debt collection are run by a person called Jo Tona.
I had dealing with them a few years back, I think he is an ex property manager for Solitaire? They had the habit of informing my mortgage company of my service charge debt owed without seeking permission 1st. One of the reasons we got rid of Solitaire was PDC and the fact that no matter what they did wrong Solitaire defended them!
Thanks for the list of the ever growing list of companies.
I know this will take a bit of effort but would it be possible to compile a list of Peverel estates. In this way, i could make contact with all of them to ensure they are satisfied with the service they receive!
I know that anyone that visits this site has suffered at the hands of Peverel.
That said, despite my sarcastic nature, i sometimes read a post which causes me great distress, such as the post about the deceased, whose family is being chased by Peverel over 10 day selling rights.
Some of us are fighters and however tough it gets we shrug our shoulders and carry on. Others, have their lives made a misery and find it difficult to cope. It is on their behalf i pledge myself and i am sure the owners of this site support this, we will fight We will fight We will fight! WE WILL WIN WE WILL WIN WE WILL WIN FOR YOU!
Hi Fellow Victims!
Many thanks to you all for the great support.
Has anyone out their had dealings with a company called Cunningham Lyndsey? They have been appointed to check our estate by Peverel.
Now i do not wish to give the impression that i do not trust anything Peverel do, but if anyone has any info i would be very grateful.
Michael,
There is a “Cunningham Lindsey” – described as one of the largest loss adjusting and claim management companies in the world.
Did work out in Brazil after the floods there – have you seen any water gushing out through those cracks in the bricks and out of the impacted land caused by that cherrypicker?
If this is the company you refer to, be reassured that “Cunningham Lindsey is a great place to work, ofering a supportive, caring and lively working environment where every individual counts.”
Maybe it’s time to call on Cassandra for one of her predictions on what’s going on?
Michael, the company you are refering to is actually loss adjuster who mainly work on behalf of the insurance companies who contract them out to investigate and settle the claim. Usually insurance company do not settle the claim directly, therefore, it is important to use independent loss adjuster. I know Aviva (Norwich Union) and others use them as their loss adjuster.
They have their own company Orial which they use to get estimates and carry out the restoration work on behalf of the insurance company.
I have been dealing with them for tracing the water leak, decontamination cleaning work since 2007. Now they are working on my claim settlement on behalf of Norwich Union and not Peverel.
The strange thing is that Peverel hired Revival and CL hired Clean Safe but both contractors work has similarities. Both caused damaged, both got signed off without my signature and got fully paid, no investigation is taking place to investigate. The insurance company is not bothered that they paid when the work is not satisfactory even though I have been complaining directly to Norwich Union chief executive office, CB, since 2007.
What do you think of Peverel using for their own work too?
Micheal
After trying to get a rebuild valuation from Solitaire for over two months my ex property manager sent me a copy of a rebuild valuation carried out by this company on October 12th 2009.
This sent alarm bells ringing as we took over on November 25th 2009 and we were not informed of this. I have yet to find out if we were billed for this but other individuals have been charged £750-£900 for this service.
I have also been informed via this site on another post that is normal for an insurance rebuild revaluation to take place every 10 years although I am dubious about the timing of this in regards to the City Heights case.
The revaluation was nearly £1 million less than our current company however the insurance cost is £2000+ less. I spoke to the gentleman who did the valuation and he said it was carried out as per RCIS standards and he did not know what had triggered it. You can contact them on 0121 233 6721(Birmingham office)
According to The Times Vincent Tchenguiz has raised a $94 million fund to invest in South African clean technology. His investment vehicle is Evolution One.
I strongly urge anyone who wishes to invest in this company to look very carefully as to how the Consensus group operates. It might save you losing your money.
