What Would You Do?

When many of us were purchasing our properties, we weren’t fortunate to have TheTruthAboutSolitaire, where a wealth of information is at your fingertips! We regularly get e-mails asking, what the intention of TheTruthAboutSolitaire is?  Are we a forum? Are we an advice line? Are we just here to cause trouble? Well, we’d like to think that we are all three….. yep, we do intend to cause trouble – but only for Solitaire / PPMG – by highlighting their inabilities and a lot more! However, we [...]

E&M Proposal to Strike Off

It’s come to our attention that yesterday Estates & Management Ltd (Reg No: 03244100) had their Companies House listing changed and there is a proposal to strike off the company (screenshot below taken this morning) We are also in receipt of the GAZ1 document entry that details that the Registrar of Companies gives notice of three months, that the company will be struck off and dissolved! (This document is freely available for you to purchase from Companies House) Click here for the GAZ1 Document It’s possible that [...]

The Unanswered Questions Thread

Solitaire’s Online Feedback Manager – ‘Andy M’, frequently replies to contributors comments and answers as many of them as possible, albeit with a reply that we already knew or didn’t agree with. However, due to the sheer number of posts that are written, we’ve read contributors ‘reminding’ Andy that they are still waiting for a reply. Our initial thought to this lack of answers, was whether Andy had taken the same approach as the rest of the company and simply can’t answer the questions you raise [...]

Views of TTAS

Those of you that have requested the contact information for Peverel’s Client Accounts Team Leader and the Lost Schemes, should be aware that the ‘Clients Accounts Team Leader’ address has changed to being @consortpm.co.uk and not @peverel.co.uk. The name before the @ symbol remains the same and we apologise for any bounces you may have received. We believe that this address was changed following our publication on Tuesday. Insurance Requests Many of you provided us with details of your current Zurich Insurance Policies that Peverel [...]

Self Managed Developments

We’ve been provided with contact details of Peverel’s ‘Client Accounts Team Leader’ and what Peverel called the ‘Lost Schemes’ or as we would commonly refer to this as the department that is handling those developments going to RTM, Self Managed, etc. If you would be interested in receiving these contact details please e-mail, the usual admin address and we’ll send them through to you.  We would list this information on the website, however Peverel would request that we took them down, so e-mail on request [...]

What happens to the admin charges on outstanding accounts?

TTAS contributor ‘Worth’ sent us an e-mail in regards to what happens to the £50 Admin Charge that is incurred following the delivery of the ’2nd reminder letter’ and may go some way to explaining how the Tchenquiz brothers are able to purchase luxurious yachts and spend the summer in St Tropez…. I have been doing some thinking about the charges that Peverel / CBG make to help the brothers buy boats. 300,000 customers are sent reminder letters each year to pay their service charges, [...]

Fire Safety and Health & Safety for your Development

In November 2009, following an investigation by Hampshire Fire & Rescue, we publicised the successful prosecution of Solitaire Property Management for failing to comply with fire safety law. For those that haven’t read about this, we have copied the information from Hampshire Fire & Rescue’s webite: 3 November 2009 Solitaire Property Management Limited has today been fined £1,500 plus costs of £2,000 after pleading guilty to two offences at Southampton Magistrates Court relating to charges of the company’s failure to comply with fire safety law. Solitaire [...]

Downing St Petition Deadline Extended

TTAS contributor ‘Archangel’ brought to our attention that the Downing St Petition Deadline has been extended until the 3 June 2010, following the announcment of the forthcoming General Election on the 6 May 2010. Due to the General Election – the ePetition has had to be closed to new submissions and signatures until after 6 May.  No.10′s official statement in regards to this is as follows:- During the official campaign period for the General Election the e-Petitions system will be closed to new submissions and [...]

They Don’t Help Themselves Do They?

We have to chuckle everytime we see a posting by Solitaire’s ‘Online Feedback Manager’ Andy, mainly because most of the time he attempts to portray SPM / PPMG in a good light, only to open up a whole new can of worms. Take for example ‘Andys’ recent posting about not profitting from the 0845 telephone number and telling us, that because we have published the switchboard’s phone numbers, instead of the 0845 one, it’ll result in ‘our calls not being handled efficiently’. What is the difference [...]

Déjà vu or Groundhog Day?

Do you ever feel that sometimes you get a feeling of de javu or that you’re on the filmset of Groundhog Day? Following a post by ‘Archangel’ that brought to our attention a Times Article that related to Mr Tchenquiz and claims of ‘exploitation’, it demonstrated how four years on, nothing has really changed for him and his companies. Here’s the article: http://business.timesonline.co.uk/tol/business/industry_sectors/construction_and_property/article744907.ece The reporter’s contact ‘Mr Sheerman’ advises that residents had to call a premium rate number (which we have already published) at 25p a minute and [...]
