On the 16 April 2011, TTAS in association with CARLEX and Charter Quay Residents Association launched a joint campaign to petition the Housing Minster “Grant Shapps”.

We asked our respective on-line communities to write / email Mr Shapps at 10am on the 18 April to express your concerns over the lack of regulation within the property management sector.

CARLEX have posted a note on their website to advise that on Sunday at 12.30pm, the BBC Politics Show will be running further coverage of the CARLEX campaign and the reasons why Right to Manage is the way forward. As reported on Tuesday, Peverel are currently running a ‘Satisfaction Survey’ that is being undertaken by an independent market research company called ‘The Research Factor’ Our understanding is, only a ‘selected’ number of residents appear to have received these questionnaires…. possibly to ensure that their ‘research’ reports a positive response to make Peverel / Solitaire or whoever – appear better than they really are!
